Mosul Highway

Mosul is in the Ninawa (Nineveh) Governorate, northern Iraq, and has undergone significant infrastructure damage and disruption due to conflict in recent years. These roads are being built or rehabilitated not only to restore mobility, but also to foster economic activity (industrial zones, logistics, cross-border trade) and to improve safety and standards. For example, the transport minister emphasised the project is a “state project” to ensure continuity.
